Bloomingdale's Coming to an Outlet Store Near You....

Fashionistas Rejoice! Thanks to our friends over at Midtown Chica-a, we just go word that Bloomingdale's will be popping up in outlet stores in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia this summer and fall. The outlets will be located at the Dolphin Mall in Miami; Bergen Town Center in Paramus, N.J., Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Fla.; and Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, Va. More stores are planning on opening in 2011. I'm excited...are you?

10 minute rush

I meant to wear this dress with some red accents this time, but I got home and had all of 10 minutes to change and get ready (yes, I had to re-touch my hair and make up in that time tooâ€¦), so I could get out the door for dinner. Needless to say, whatever I could find to put on was what I went with.

I did end up with the pop of yellow (similar to last time I wore this) and some fun tights, so I figure I did pretty well for myself :)

A little kindness

I typically dress more casually on Fridays, but I simply forgot today so I dressed in my normal business attire (which is often a skirt!).

I had a few people who I wouldnâ€™t have expected to comment on how I looked or what I was wearing â€" tell me that I looked elegant and sophisticated. What nice compliments!

No matter how confident a person may be (or seem), kind words are always appreciated. Iâ€™m going to do my best to repay the kindness to others around me as well.
