My co-worker wore a really cute hair accessory to work the other day, but to my surprise... the "hair accessory" was actually a pin that came with a coat she bought a long time ago. She simply grabbed a hair clip and clipped it onto the pin. What a great and budget-friendly way to make your own hair accessories.
